Of Dominican heritage and Boston raised, REGA (born Eric De La Cruz), now makes his home in New York City. Stemming from his full performance title 'Erregular,' emcee and songwriter, REGA provides listeners with a no-nonsense, lyrical manifestation of the adversity that plagues urban life, while simultaneously embracing his hardships to extend positive messages of perseverance, tenacity, and dignified empathy. Reigning as CEO and Co-Founder of his music label, "REGAmusic/EnT," REGA already emanates the makings of a true Hip Hop mogul.

REGA envisions a revolution (or "movemEnT" if you will) to transcend hip hop's frequent presentation of mindless entertainment. He feels it is imperative to rightfully take back an art form that told stories, spoke out against injustice, and granted listeners an outlet to channel emotion, self-expression, and a genuine love for music and legendary lyricism.

While taking on the titles of director, producer, fashion and costume designer for his first independent music video, “Wrap Mc’s,” REGA doesn’t believe in limiting his talents. More than just a future hip hop sensation known as REGA, Eric De La Cruz dares to enter into the arena that is not meant for the timid, not meant for the faint at heart and certainly not for those who can’t bare their souls and embrace criticism: The Art of Acting.
